At Cookku, we want you to love every product you buy from us. If something isn't right, we're here to make it easy. This policy explains exactly how our returns and refunds work — including timelines, eligibility, costs, and what to expect at each step.

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return for most items.

To be eligible, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received it
  • In its original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories included
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
⚠️ Important: All returns must be approved by our team before being shipped back. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted or refunded.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Personal care or hygiene products (e.g., baby pacifiers, feeding accessories that have been opened)
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards and digital products
  • Items damaged by misuse, accident, or normal wear and tear
  • Items returned after the 30-day window

3. How to Request a Return

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1 — Email Us

Send an email to support@cookku.com within 30 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for return
  • Photos (if the item is damaged or incorrect)

Step 2 — Receive Approval & RMA

Our support team will review your request within 1–2 business days and email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with the return shipping address.

Step 3 — Ship the Item

Pack the item securely in its original packaging, write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package, and ship it to the address we provide. We recommend using a tracked shipping method.

Step 4 — Inspection & Refund

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval. If approved, your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days.

4. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

This depends on the reason for your return:

5. Refund Timeline

6. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue a partial refund instead of a full refund:

  • Items returned with obvious signs of use
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Items missing parts or accessories
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

The amount of the partial refund will be determined based on the item's condition.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

We're sorry if your item arrived damaged or doesn't work properly. To resolve quickly:

  1. Email support@cookku.com within 7 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number, clear photos of the damage, and a brief description
  3. We'll respond within 24 hours with a solution

You can choose between:

  • A free replacement shipped at no cost to you
  • A full refund to your original payment method

8. Incorrect Items

If you received a different item than what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll send you the correct item right away and provide a free return label for the incorrect one.

9. Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges, but here's the fastest way to swap an item:

  1. Place a new order for the item you want
  2. Email us to start the return for the original item
  3. Receive a refund for the original item once we get it back

This way, you get your new item faster than waiting for a traditional exchange.

10. Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it for a full refund. After 12 hours, your order may already be in processing and cannot be canceled — but you can still return it after delivery under our 30-day return policy.

11. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the timeframe above:

  1. Check your bank account again carefully
  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take some time before the refund is officially posted)
  3. Contact your bank — there is often processing time before a refund posts
  4. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, email support@cookku.com

12. Sale Items

Items purchased on sale are eligible for return under the same 30-day policy, unless marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase. Refunds for sale items will be issued at the discounted price paid.
